Steve has been working in online media for over a decade as writer, producer, and technical consultant. He is co-founder and a principal of Smashface, which is a "Production Company 2.0" focused on developing original online video content, creating co-productions with traditional media, building and cultivating online communities, and providing interactive consulting services. Steve has won a Webby® Award for EPIC-FU, a pioneering web show about the new Internet pop culture that recently surpassed 3,000,000 views for a single month.
Steve is also co-founder of Pixelodeon, the annual screening festival in Los Angeles for serious Internet video makers.
Steve graduated from Pratt Institute in New York City as a painting major and has exhibited his work across the country. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Zadi Diaz.
